The main intention of this group is to instigate and rekindle the spirit of service in every citizen. One Mr. Krishnaiah referred this case to Pavan and Pavan asked him to contact Prasanthi. Prasanthi in turn posted to the group about the case. There were so many questions. But we wanted to help her if she can provide us the mark sheets. Our strategy was to send her mark sheets to some of our members' friends who are interested to contribute and lend till she completes her MBBS.

Our members Ravi, Jairam, Vani, Raghu and few others spoke with her. On group's front we contributed Rs. 5000. On May 21st, Pavan has sent that amount to Purohitha. Pavan collected some amount from his friends. He will be sending that amount to her shortly.

She is paying Rs. 43 k per year for hostel fee apart from college fee Rs. 30k. Her mother does saree work at Madanapalli. If we provide the same work to her mother to do in Kuppam, then Purohitha will stay with her mother.

Purohitha got Rs. 30 k from Govt for her tuition fee. So she is in need of money for her hostel fee and books which would cost Rs. 45000 approximately. Donors can send the amount on monthly basis.

Our Comment

We are very clear on this case, from the beginnning. We cannot provide her any support on the group's front as the amount is too high. What we can do is, we can scan the documents that she sends to us and forward to friends, colleagues and different organizations that support Education.

We want to act as mediators in this case.
