Make A Difference
The main intention of this group is to instigate and rekindle the spirit of service in every citizen. We can continue with our day-to-day life and still can work for positive and progressive changes in our society. Encourage people to form as groups with friends and like minded people and work towards attainable goals.
NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD, IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART, YOU CAN DO IT. IT IS THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS NOT WHERE YOU ARE OR WHERE THE PERSON IS.
Bala Subrahmanyam, B.Com. Student
Yasoda, a widow, is a massage therapist who works in Dr. Sundar's Ayurvedic Hospital. We used to conduct our monthly meetings in that hospital and Yasoda requested us to provide financial help for her sons' education. We told her that we can offer support from the next academic year.
Bala Subrahmanyam is Yasoda's elder son and he secured 71% in CEC group in Intermediate. He studied in a govt. school in a village in Chittoor. He used to stay in that village with her younger brother and maternal grandmother. He didn't go to any tuition.
Prasanthi and Dr. Sundar asked her to attend our monthly meeting on May. The boy introduced himself to our group and everyone agreed to provide financial support to this boy. Satyakrishna, our member, took personal interest on this boy and took the responsibility of this case.
Satyakrishna and his friends advised him to take up general B.Com. and suggested him to apply for CA. They will guide the boy.

Our Comment
Bala Subrahmanyam is a hardworking student. He has energy, enthusiasm and dreams. Yasoda told us that she cannot bear the college and hostel fee and only if we assure her that we will take care of him, she can join him in Degree. Otherwise she wanted to send him for any job.
Our group (TMAD) can bear the academic expenses but not hostel expenses. So we told her that initially the boy can stay with her in Dr. Sundar's hospital. Meanwhile we will try to get support for hostel fee from any donor. So we paid for the bus pass for one month.
We need support from any donors @ 2000 rs. per month for hostel and petty expenses of the boy. We hope that this support is needed only for 6 to 8 months. We want to provide him enough guidance so that he can get through the CA Entrance and can start earning by going for Audits. Satyakrishna's friends took up the responsibility of providing such kind of opportunities once he passes the exam.
